To all of you, who don’t know, let me tell you this is 1920 Milburn which is the simple beauty of the electric drivetrain. The car may be old, but its features are deemed modern and fits well within today’s standards. This antique piece is owned by a 72-year-old retired electrician, Tom Henry, and has not only eco-friendly credentials but is economical at the same time. Under the hood and trunk lid, there are lead acid battery trays in the front and bank of the car which can be slid out to swap the batteries. This vehicle also features a DC charger, a 20 mph top speed and a range of 100 miles – a performance that puts this antique beauty on equal footing with Nissan Leaf EV and Ford Focus EV. Milburn doesn’t ask for much of the maintenance changing radiators, oil changes, belt changes, tune ups and all burning deep hole in your pocket.
